Callum Reid · workshop, near Oldmeldrum
You'll deal with the person doing the work.
North & Grain is Callum Reid and one other joiner. Callum has been on the tools in Aberdeenshire for eighteen years, time-served, mostly in people's homes.
He answers the phone, comes out to measure, makes the work and fits it. There's no office in between, which is why you'll sometimes get a call back in the evening rather than at four o'clock.
From idea to fitted.
Five steps, and you only have to do the first one.
01
Talk
Send a message, photograph, drawing or even a rough sketch. Explain what you're trying to achieve.
02
Measure
If the job looks like a good fit, we arrange a visit to look at the space and take measurements.
03
Quote
You get a clear quote and an explanation of what's included.
04
Make
Where it makes sense, components are prepared off-site before installation.
05
Fit
We install carefully, tidy up, and leave the work ready to use.
Demonstration reviews · written for this portfolio site, not real customers
“We had written that cupboard off. Now the hoover has a home and I can find both my boots. He measured it himself and fitted it himself, which made the whole thing easy.”
“Dust sheets down every night, hoovered before he left, and the stair was usable the whole way through. The oak was worth the wait.”
“I sent photos of the room and a rough sketch on the back of an envelope. What went in matches the room, not a catalogue.”
Got something in mind?
Send us a couple of photos and tell us what you're thinking. Phone photos are absolutely fine — you don't need drawings or exact measurements.
